Meet your Management Team: Cynthia Castro

I am the Director of Operations at Sierra Dental Care (SDC) in Modesto, CA, and I bring more than two decades of experience in the dental field. My career began in 1995 as a receptionist, and through hard work, dedication, and a passion for dentistry, I grew into leadership roles across multiple specialties — including Pediatric Dentistry, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, General Dentistry, and Orthodontics.

Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of a wide range of insurance plans, including PPO and DHMO, which allows me to help ensure smooth and efficient administrative processes for our patients. I am deeply committed to providing an excellent patient experience and strive to make every visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Beyond my professional life, my greatest joy is my family. I have been married for 32 years to my supportive husband, who has built a long and successful career as a conductor with BNSF. We are blessed with two wonderful adult children — my son, who proudly serves in the US Navy while pursuing his education at San Jose State University, and my daughter, who has recently begun the beautiful journey of motherhood. Watching them grow and succeed brings me endless pride and fulfillment.

In my free time, my favorite thing to do is simply spend quality time with my family. Those moments together mean the world to me, and I cherish every opportunity to create lasting memories with the people I love most.
