Meet your Modesto Area Dentist: Dr. Marinello

For nearly 40 years, dentistry has been both my profession and my passion — and for the last 29 of those years, I’ve been proud to call Sierra Dental Care my home. What began as a demanding journey has become a deeply fulfilling vocation. I genuinely cannot imagine myself in any other field.

At Sierra Dental Care, we stand by our mission: “Providing caring, reliable, affordable, quality dentistry — one patient at a time.” To truly honor that promise, a dentist must have real compassion for people: their health, their comfort, and their overall I. It takes time, energy, sacrifice, and patience — and I’m grateful every day to do this work.

Our practice is committed to excellence and to doing what is right for the patient, always. Our team’s strength comes from our shared passion for dentistry and our trust in one another. When we work together, we’re able to give every patient the kind of care we’d want for our own families.

Outside the office, my curiosity tends to pull me around the world — wanderlust has taken me to more than 50 countries so far. I love tending to my garden, going on long hikes, and spending time volunteering. I have a deep appreciation for art, history, and beauty in all its forms; collecting antiques and religious icons, visiting museums, and exploring historic churches and buildings always lifts my spirit. My years living in New York City sharpened that love, especially through Broadway, symphonies, and the opera. And as an unapologetic epicurean and wine enthusiast, I’m always exploring new tastes and experiences.

I take pride in what I do and in the people I serve. I’ve always believed that “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” It’s a reminder to keep learning, keep growing, and always put heart into the work.
